Hicks has found that the "strange" world of quantum physics, when looked at from a spiritual perspective, may not actually be all that strange to Bible readers. Next week, we'll look at where supercomputing will go next – on a straight line to faster and faster speeds, or into the strange world of quantum physics, and – theoretically – infinitely faster supercomputers. Recent experiments have begun to demonstrate how the weird world of quantum mechanics gives way to the familiarity of everyday experience. I see some mistakes about QM in the comments, but since all I know about QM is from a freshman seminar I took, I'll leave it to others - except to encourage people to read "The Strange World of Quantum Mechanics" by Styer. Psychology, it were the fantastic lectures on Physics in the Dutch Bèta-Gamma Bachelor (Liberal Arts and Sciences) and the documentary What The Bleep Do We Know? This first foray into the strange-but-maybe-true world of quantum mechanics wasn't expected by scientists until 20 years from now. I disagree that all these 'interpretations' of Quantum Mechanics are free to believe in. The movie makes a nod to the strange world of quantum physics. That drew me to the strange world of Quantum Mechanics. If you believe the Schrodinger Equation, you must believe the many world 'interpretation'. Ink is also at the same time a real fairy tale that may touch your internal sentimental child. The simple thought experiment presented (dealing with Albert's socks) allows the reader to explore the weird world of quantum physics, an experience that likely will challenge the reader's view on reality.
